Who we are

Complete Colour was established in 1995. We make framed prints and mirrors in our London workshop and supply Trade Customers with framed prints, mirrors, lighting and sculpture.

Liquid Art (LA)- what is it?

We are UK producers of ‘Liquid Art’ – our special series of framed prints that are embellished with detailing and eye catching crystals, applied by hand to the surface of the glass.

Embellished Framed Prints (E) or (CVE)

This hand made process is done individually to each piece and therefore no two are exactly alike. Our artists use materials such as paints, resins, foils and other mixed media to enhance the features of the framed print. These embellished images are over-brushed (see above description) and there is no glass. This embellished finish enhances the brightness and depths of colour.

Foiled Framed Prints (F) or (CVF)

This hand foiled technique is applied to various surfaces; to the glass, to over-brushed impasto and also direct on to the printed images. The gold and silver metal foil gives a lustre and rich high quality finish to the framed picture. This process enhances the features within the image. It is applied by hand and as such no two are exactly alike.

Overbrushed Framed Prints (OB) or (CV)

This is an application of a clear thick impasto which gives the framed print a canvas-like texture and a semi-sheen to the surface, emulating the artist’s brushstrokes.
